From a small beginning.....
We started our business as DJS Enterprises in 1973 - Our heritage of speed This is a photograph of the DJS .049, developed in 1977 by Dub Jett and John Shannon. It sold for $300.00 (yes in 1977 U.S. dollars). This engine held the CL 1/2A speed record for several years, but the real prize was the .15 size that held the record for an amazing 11 years! DJS engines were the first to break 200 mph in class B, 180 in class A and 130 in class 1/2 A.

...Experience and Innovation

Over the years Dub Jett's experience in both control line and R/C pylon racing made him a leader in new engine technologies. Today, both Sport pilots as well as racers benefit from his years development, design innovation, and endless hours of testing.

The Sport-Jett is born...
The beginnings of the Sport-Jett engines can be found right here, with the first of our Quickie-500 engines. The RamJett sport pylon engine, build along side the first AMA 428 Q-500 engines first flew in 1992, and saw competition for the first time in 1993. Today's Sport-Jett and pylon engines are all direct descendants of these amazing engines. Today, our Super Sport .40 is one of the most popular sport pylon engines in the world!
