"Hi Dub and Bob, thanks for your interest
in my Diamond Dust with the Jett FIRE 60 LX.
The airplane is covered with UltraCote, has JR 4735 servos, 750 mah battery, Hitec 555 receiver, 3/16 carbon fiber
push rods with titanium ends and weighs 47 ounces.
I am using a stock APC 8.8x9 propeller and the engine turns in excess of 19,500 rpm static.
The pipe and adapter that I received with the engine wouldn’t clear the 6 ounce Bubble Jett tank so I had to machine
an adapter with about a 15 degree angle in order to use the pipe.
I don’t have any idea what the top speed of the airplane is but it seems like it would go out of sight in 2 or
3 seconds if you didn’t make a turn. When I go into vertical flight it there is very little loss of speed. The
airplane will roll so fast that you can’t count the rolls, probably on the order of 5 or 10 per second. To make
the airplane flyable I use 100% exponential on both aileron and elevator. The transmitter is a Futaba 14 MZ."
