Welcome to the Prop-Jet Page
Prop-Jets are more popular than ever!
Jet looks, great performance, and economical alternatives to turbine
or ducted fan jet models. The Jett SJ-90L, SJ-90LX, SJ-50 and SJ-60LX
are great choices!
(or go BSE - make that engine installation shine!)

Alan Baskin Outstanding aircraft! "The engine I ordered was the 90 signature BSE put in a Great Planes F-14 Tomcat. My first trip to our flying field here in Colorado Springs proved to be an absolute success. I had plenty of complements and questions even before I had the chance to get it off the ground. Everyone was impressed with not only the plane but the engine. By the time I was ready for my first flight I'd drawn quite a croud. But the moment of truth was an exciting experience. I took off without incidence and it flew beautifully. The power was excellent especially for the altitude here in Colorado and the added weight of the flaps, retracts, and sequencing doors. The flight was a sight of beauty. The speed
was certainly what I was looking for and the engine hadn't even been leaned out yet. To end a happy first flight
was a perfect flared main wheel touchdown on centerline. Beautiful!" |
|
|
Russell Purkey "The plane flies very well on this engine,
even though it's a rock. |
|
|
Rodney Smedt "It is pretty fast - it keeps me paying attention" Real nice Job Rodney. Nice color scheme. |
|
Kevin Gambetti Finish all done in Monocote! |

Andrew from This is an excellent example of adding performance to an already good engine using the Jett-Stream performance muffler. "I actually purchased this F14 from last year's WRAM show. I changed the old engine for an OS .91FX engine and purchased your Jett muffler. I actually saw an increase of 900 rpm. I use a 11x10 prop . This plane was clocked at 118mph over the summer. I love your muffler." Now thats what we like to hear!
